Lead UX Supervisor & HCI Professional
ANTICIPATING USER NEEDS & MEETING EXPECTATIONS
Iva currently works as Lead UX Supervisor for Ubisoft and is a UXC certified HCI professional. She is a passionate and tireless advocate for user needs and well-designed information displays. Iva has a MA in Arts and currently works on her PhD in Human-Computer Interaction. She holds a UX certification by the Nielsen Norman Group.
Information should always be accessible, conclusive and understandable,
so the user can make fast and correct decisions.
IVA'S SPECIALIZATION IN UX
With over a decade of industry experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Iva has worked in various fields and applied User-Centered Design processes and User First-approaches to improve overall product experiences.
Establishing context & creating networks of associations, helps the user to quickly understand information, without having to read long explanations or tutorials. With such methodo-logies, we can improve overall perception of information in a fast and efficient way that feels natural and seamless.
By adding cognitive ergonomy to the UX process, the design can be tailored even better to user needs. Understanding and addressing internal models and information processing of the brain helps to anticipate user needs, address cognitive and memory-based limitations and capabilities and ultimately create designs that meet specific user expectations.
Neuroeconomics is a novel research field focusing on economics, psychology and neuroscience. It offers models and measurements to under-stand how the human brain forms decisions and how that can impact the way, infor-mation is presented to the customers.
